La Casa de la Fuente is situated in Villanueva de Algaidas a small village of about 4,000 people, close to Antequera, yet only 80 km from Malaga Airport and 75 km from the newly opened international airport at Granada. We are surrounded by olive trees which are locally processed into the finest extra virgin olive oil and some of the best eating olives in the world. Being in the ‘heart’ of Andalucia we are ideally situated for visiting Granada, Cordoba, Malaga and Ronda, all within 1 hours drive, Seville being 1½ hours drive. We have many local attractions within a few miles of the Casa, Antequera is a very historical town with it’s many churches, El Torcal National Park, Laguna de Fuente Piedra (The Flamingo Lake) The Lake at Iznajar, The Alhambra Palace in Granada and El Chorro, just to mention a few……. We offer home-cooked evening meals with a little notice and can cater for vegetarians and children alike. All food is cooked fresh and using many local ingredients. Our menu is based on English dishes, but can be flexible. There are several good restaurants and tapa’s bars all within walking distance from the Casa offering varied and very reasonably priced menus. We can help you decide what and where to eat with our copies of local restaurant menu’s in our welcome book. Located as we are in the center of Andalucia it is an ideal location for house hunters looking for a property in the “Real” Spain.
